Applications in prescribed forms
are invited from candidates who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination
with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Vocational Agriculture with above
combination as elective subjects and securing at least 60% marks in aggregate of above mentioned three subjects for
General candidates and 50% for SC/ST and PWD (Person with Disability)
for admission to
4 years B.Sc.(Agriculture)
Hons.
and
B.Sc.(Horticulture) Hons.
courses for 2011-2012 session. However, candidates from Vocational stream must
secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in the H.S. examination. The candidates
appearing in Vocational in Agriculture stream at 10+2 level this year may also
apply for collection of form. The candidates must attain the age of 16 years
and above as on 01.06.2011. Application form with prospectus may be obtained

General category and Rs. 75.00 (Seventy Five only) for SC/ST and PWD candidates in
cash. Form may also be collected by sending a
self-addressed envelope (10"×6") with postage stamp of Rs.50.00 to the
Deputy Registrar along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 300.00 (or Rs.75.00 as the case may be) drawn on
any nationalized Bank payable at Cooch Behar
in favour of 'Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya'. Application form may
